2022 Events

We offer a range of activities including: in-person retreats and reflective groups; and personal and professional development programs.
Our facilitators lead these programs using the Circle of Trust® approach, based on the work of author and activist Parker J. Palmer.

The Center for Courage & Renewal is a nonprofit organisation that offers retreats, programs, events, and consulting. The Center for Courage & Renewal admits participants of any race, colour, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities and does not discriminate in administration of its programs, admissions policies, scholarships and financial assistance.

If the fee is a barrier to you attending a retreat please contact the organisers to have a conversation about how we can accommodate your needs.

At the moment our approach towards COVID-19 management is one of inclusivity and safety.
As such, we are seeking to hold events either outdoors or via zoom, and will continue to provide updates as circumstances evolve.
If we unable to hold an event, full refunds to registrants will be provided.

“Have you ever seen
anything
in your life
more wonderful
than the way the sun,
every evening
relaxed and easy,
 floats toward the horizon
…and is gone –
and how it slides again
out of the blackness,
 every morning,
on the other side of the world”

  • creating some ‘hibernating quiet’ space for yourself away from your everyday concerns;
  • connecting to the wild and creative energy of the season, and reflecting on how this energy is or could be valuable in our own lives;
  • enjoying stories and laughter with other women.
