Retreat

Reclaiming Trust Weekend Retreat
Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August
Arrive 5.00pm Friday and depart 1.30pm Sunday

The last few years have shaken our view of the order and stability of life.  Even in the face of personal and collective suffering there is the possibility of remembering and re-grounding ourselves in the fundamental goodness and grace of the world.  In this retreat we will be reconnecting with the wonder, joy and trustworthiness of our human community and the timeless rhythms of the natural world that sustain us.

C&RWA aim to nurture supportive communities of reflection and practice to help people come alive with a renewed sense of purpose, build trustworthy relationships, and cultivate the courage to rise to today’s challenges, making a difference within themselves and their communities.  We do this through programs rooted in the Courage & Renewal approach.
Facilitators
Anne Courtney and Michael Prince

St John of God Retreat Centre, 47 Gloucester Crescent, Shoalwater.

Full fee $660, from Saturday 16th July

What to Expect
In this retreat, skilled facilitators help create a quiet, focused, and disciplined space—a circle of trust—in which the noise within us and around us can subside and we can begin to hear our own inner voice. In the large group, small groups, and solitary settings, we will explore the intersection of our personal and work lives, making use of stories from our own journeys and insights from poets, storytellers, and various wisdom traditions. Each retreat includes a Clearness Committee where you learn to listen deeply and ask insightful “open and honest” questions.
“Have you ever seen
anything
in your life
more wonderful
than the way the sun,
every evening
relaxed and easy,
 floats toward the horizon
…and is gone –
and how it slides again
out of the blackness,
 every morning,
on the other side of the world”
